This event is part of Berwick Singfest! – a celebration of singing.
A journey through the musical ages, led by Nick Milburn, using the same text in different settings.
We will explore the beauty of the different periods of musical history through the four contrasting pieces: Plainchant, Byrd, Mozart, and Mawby, and how each has its challenges as a choral work.
Nick has been Musical Director of the Nottingham Hospitals Choir since 2006 and Burton Joyce Choral Society since 2014.
Music will be supplied in advance for this workshop. Attendance is limited to 25 people.
No previous knowledge is assumed, and all are welcome. There is no need to bring your ticket, as we will have a record of your booking.
