Berwick Music Series

The Berwick Music Series is a pot pourri of concerts, lectures, workshops, community performances, and music projects for schools. It is held over three week-ends in September/October in Berwick-upon-Tweed.

The aim of BMS, under Artistic Director, Prof Michael Worboys, is to celebrate classical and contemporary music played by soloists and small ensembles.

BMS features established and recent music played by nationally and internationally known performers.

There is also the opportunity to showcase work by composers and performers from the North East.

The principal venue for BMS concerts is the Berwick Watchtower, well-known for its collection of the art of Ian Stephenson and for its lovely acoustic properties.
