An introduction to theory and practice.

This event is organised in conjunction with Greener Berwick.

A thought-provoking series of four lectures introducing the theory and practice of Green Architecture which will include an opportunity for the exchange of ideas on the sustainability of our local urban environment.

It is presented by Professor Emeritus Brian Edwards of ECA Edinburgh University, and will be based on his books, especially ‘Rough Guide to Sustainability’ and ‘Green Buildings Pay’. Each two-hour session will include a tea break and time for discussion and workshop elements too, with thoughts on how to make Berwick ( and possibly Edinburgh) more sustainable as urban entities. Please bring your ideas along!

No special knowledge will be assumed and all are welcome.
