The Berwick Music Series 2021 was held over three week-ends in September and October 2021. You will find details of the events and links to some of the material below, as well as feedback on the Series.
Overall, BMS 2021 was a big success. While the pandemic forced us to scale back both the number of events and the attendances we could allow, we had outstanding performances from violist Stephen Upshaw and the Frankland Quartet. We had more demand for tickets than we could supply: both concerts and the workshop were sold out. There was an enthusiastic response to our schools project reMixed; and our first New Music Competition produced a large number of high-quality entries from across the UK and abroad.
We are very grateful for the support of our sponsors, who are listed here, and to Kate Stephenson of the Watchtower Gallery.
